I go out for a walk most mornings; it's my favourite form of exercise. You may have already realised that l take many photos of flowers and trees while l'm out walking. I never go onto someone's property and make sure that l don't photograph any features that may lead to the garden, and house being recognised.
I also never steal plants. We probably all know someone who has had plants stolen from their garden, l know l do. So here's my dilemma.
Look at this little beauty. I was out on a walk last week and spotted these flowers on an empty block. I walk along this street at least once a week and have never seen them before.
They're absolutely gorgeous with their large yellow petals. The block is empty, but, not for long l fear. I live in Melbourne and the real estate market here is crazy. Once l'd snapped a few shots l kept walking feeling a little sad that the block will probably be built on soon and these lovely flowers will be gone to make room for townhouses.
I did think of taking one and saving it, but, here's my dilemma. They're not mine to take and it would feel like l'm stealing them. There's no-one to ask permission so l don't know what to do. The block is empty and they are just growing there, but, again, that doesn't mean that l can waltz in and help myself.
So what would you do, dear reader. Am l being silly about this and just take them or should l leave them.
