A favourite flower

Do you have a favourite flower; l do. Actually, what l should say is that l have a lot of favourite flowers. In the following weeks l'll show some of mine.
Starting today - Agapanthus

Aren't they gorgeous. The genus of this flower belongs to the onion family and their genus name means flower of love from the Greek agape.

What's not to love. They look great and are hardy and easy to grow. l think that l like the purple one just a little more than the white.

The colours range from white to purple, l think this one looks more blue than purple. They grow in clumps and are great to use as a border.
